Diamond Spectrum recently held a team building event at Makumutu Lodge & Campsite on January 20th, 2023. The event was designed to educate and empower employees with financial knowledge under the theme “BE CREATIVE, BE RICH,” which is a critical part of life skills.
The objectives of the team building were as follows:
- Show employee appreciation
- Facilitate networking and socializing
- Encourage teamwork and boost performance
- Enhance company culture
- Improve communication and encourage better teamwork
- Improve employee engagement and morale
- Create something to look forward to.
The event was graced by Mr. Calvin Phokontsi, a well-known financial advisor and coach who has worked with major players in the industry such as Debswana, SADC, Stanbic Bank, LEA, and government ministries. Among the attendees were the company directors, including Mr. Kgotlaetsile Eddie Mosarwe, Mr. Reginald Malinda, and Mr. Bonani Bototeng, as well as all Diamond Spectrum employees.
During the event, employees asked many questions and showed great interest in topics such as budgeting, financial freedom, and financial legacies. The discussions were relatable, with employees reflecting on their personal financial positions and finding the examples used during the presentation useful.
At the end of the event, employees expressed their gratitude to the management for the opportunity and all the support they received. They pledged to continue being proactive, punctual, achieving all targets, and abiding by all company standards, including zero ALCOHOL cases.
